“IT DOESN’T TAKE A LOT OF STRENGTH TO HANG ON. IT TAKES A LOT OF STRENGTH TO LET GO.”
J. C. WATTS
I spend most of my time hanging on, keeping everything in check, under and in control. It’s second nature to me now – easy almost. It’s what I do to stay safe.
But if I’ve learnt anything from the last month and my old friend anxiety it’s that I am not and never will be truly safe. Not while I keep hanging on.
It’s time to let the the mask slip and the cracks show. It’s time to let go of all the things I do to keep hanging on.
I have no idea what will happen, but I trust myself and my ‘system’, and I trust my team. It’s time to let go.
